The Brief W-Sport is a broadcasting company dedicated to women’s sport — offering live games, highlights, TV schedules, archive and feature content. It operates in five countries and regions — Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia — so needed a new website that could be optimised and localised for these areas. They called on Matrix Internet to design and develop a new platform that’s keeping them ahead of the game. We created the new site with flexibility at its core. Each country/region has different content and broadcasts, which is all updated and generated automatically. The streamlined site is optimised for quick browsing and searching, with subtle animation and intuitive menus to guide the user. W-Sport is constantly growing, along with the global rise in women’s sport. As the site gets bigger, it is flexible enough to expand while maintaining its visual and functional integrity — so they can handle extra regions, automatic schedule uploads and new featured sports.
