The Brief RoofWindows4You is an award-winning UK-based company that provides — you guessed it — quality roof window solutions for homes and businesses. They needed to shine some extra light on their company and services, and they saw a window of opportunity with a new website courtesy of Matrix. Through our initial UX discovery workshop, we started working on their goals of creating a bright, clear platform that simplified the sales process, and showcased their huge range of windows, loft ladders and blinds, while educating potential customers on the benefits of their well-renowned solutions for homeowners and businesses. This distinction was crucial — with a simple button toggle, users can now simply browse their catalogue and prices with and without VAT, for B2C and B2B customers, streamlining the user journey and the site’s functional elements. One notable UX enhancement is the new Window Configurator, with attributes such as size, frame material and pivot point, so users can get a tangible idea of suitable options before a consultation or order. This is complemented by a new Knowledge Hub, with helpful guides and blogs on installation, technical issues and other advice for homes and multiple business sectors. The streamlined UX has also been transferred to RW4Y sales representatives, who can now place backend bespoke orders for their customers while on the road or on the fly. This new functionality, along with a new simplified checkout experience, means the whole RoofWindows4You customer experience is as clear as a freshly cut pane of glass.
