Our founder Jeff has had a ringside seat for over 1,000 projects. That’s a lot of late nights, but he’ll be in your corner, banishing stress with an inspiring quote (or cheesy pun). A music lover, he’ll throw shapes to metal, hip-hop, country or classical — often on the same playlist! He leads with this open mind, never staying in one lane.

Michelle joined Matrix in 2000 soon after its inception. She has a passion and enthusiasm to ensure that every project Matrix works on helps their clients grow their business. The key to success is building relationships that go beyond one-time projects and provide value to these clients on a consistent, ongoing basis.

Iñaki grew up in the Basque Country. While working as a web developer he also developed an interest in helping companies grow, creating personalised solutions. A craft beer connoisseur, he brings a new meaning to draft proposals, and knows almost as many imperial stouts as he types words per minute.

Richard is our Operations Manager who makes sure Matrix runs as smoothly as possible, and client projects are scheduled with efficiency, productivity and results in mind. When he’s not clearing his inbox he’ll be in the great outdoors on family walks and hikes — with a new little one adding extra weight to his backpack.

A technical heavyweight, we drag Tomas out of his coding cave for specialised projects. When he does leave his den full of wires, gadgets, woodworking tools and his guitar, it’s for the odd family trip or fishing weekend. We check in if we haven’t seen him for a while!

Michael is a UX business analyst who takes a client-focused and patient approach to project management. Outside work he swaps Excel menus for dinner menus — he’s got a passion for great food, and loves mixing it up by making cocktails.

Kathy has spent over 15 years as a number-crunching wizard without the pointy hat. She also runs Dublin’s smallest gallery, the 3 Walls Gallery, which is also her home and an AirBnb which the Irish Times has voted as one of the city’s top 10 places to stay.

Bernard is an experienced front end developer, passionate about creating websites that are cleanly coded, with a strong focus on user experience. He’s been a traveling developer and has worked in 50+ countries but now he’s settled in native Dublin, where he chills out watching series and making eclectic music playlists.

Tom is a Photoshop Archmage level 95. When he feels exhausted after conjuring up digital image spells, he’ll conquer the world and slay mighty dragons in the alternative reality board game realm, or play an ancient game called soccer.

Senior Web Developer Charlotte is the only woman on the Matrix development team, and lives for neat, logical code. Born and raised in France, she’s a vegetarian who can cook up to five dishes, none of them French. She’s also a keen ukulele player — which isn’t very French either!

Jimmy is an experienced design and marketing guy with a passion for getting projects over the line and developing long-term solutions. A sports fanatic, he’ll be your biggest supporter throughout the project, and manages a ladies’ Gaelic football team in his spare time.

Norman has been a professional studio manager, with 20 years’ experience delivering digital projects in a dynamic environment. He’s a real team player, spurred on by the fair play element and spirit of his favourite game, rugby. On the subject of spirits, he enjoys savouring a glass of Irish pot still single malt.

Lubos is a Full Stack Developer from a small country in the heart of Europe, Slovakia. Always in pursuit of minimising code and maximising functionality, he loves to write applications from scratch, putting his experience to good use with a lookout for new ways to improve his skill set.

Conor is a creative writer who joins the dots between journalism, copywriting and web content. Every company has a story, and he’ll know how to tell it. An award-winning music writer and blogger, you’ll find him at gigs on any random night of the week (front left speaker).

Fionnuala is our Technical Project Manager with an MSc in Multimedia Systems and over 14 years’ experience working around the world in design, multimedia and IT services. In her free time you might find her exploring the great outdoors with her camera, baking, or tending to her ever growing plant collection.

Brian is a tech-lover from Waterford who’s been a developer, trainer, manager and IT guy for over 20 years. When he isn't coding or working with the latest hardware or software, he’ll be walking with his camera through the nearest field or the beach, trying to capture the moment.

Nick is a design veteran of 30+ years, who has spent most of that time fighting bad design. He’s a typography anorak and an ambassador for using exquisite imagery, and loves sharing creative ideas. The founder of Design Business Ireland, his passion is telling clients how design will change their lives.

Alan is old school internet with over 25 years of designing websites behind him. A passion for reducing complexity and extracting simplicity keeps him coming back for more. If he’s not designing he’s probably either cooking / eating ramen, tinkering on the guitar or gaming

Brian is a marketing expert with over 20 years’ experience creating communications strategies, delivering rebranding programmes and managing digital platform rollouts for clients all over Europe; including many multimillion euro projects for the European Commission. Brian helps Irish companies develop marketing strategies for growth worldwide.

Fred is a German UI designer who’s passionate about designing dynamic and engaging user interfaces — and boosting his creativity by sketching and illustrating in his down time. Away from his desk, he swaps his office chair for a bike, running shoes and swimming goggles to train for the next triathlon, or plays the guitar to relax.

Giuseppe is an empathic UX and UI designer and a strategic thinker. A curious problem-solver by nature, he loves to know why, how, who... and walk in other people's shoes while materialising his concepts. Outside work, he loves reading, sailing or playing soccer with friends.

Galway native Helen is an expert at nurturing business relationships and managing expectations. She’s got the best jargon filter in the game, and she’s driven by clear communication between clients of all technical abilities. If she’s not out walking with her furry friend she's at home wondering what’s for dinner!

Panos was born in Athens, Greece and has worked in his home country and the UK. At Matrix he specialises in WordPress and creating templates. He hates to cook, but he loves spinning and going to the beach. He’s big into football too, and is a huge fan of Panathinaikos.

Laura is an enthusiastic multilingual PPC specialist, eagerly analysing data to ensure your accounts run smoothly. When she's not crunching over keywords, you’ll find her in the kitchen experimenting with new culinary recipes while sipping on a nice glass of Tempranillo.

Shane is a web developer who specialises in WordPress, with nearly a decade in the industry. Shane is inspired by great design, and always aims to deliver a smooth and clean user experience. Away from his work station, he swaps screens to watch a good movie, series, or a story-driven video game, or ventures out for a hike or cliff walk.

Stuart is a shamelessly zealous designer based in Ljubljana. He specialises in UI/UX design solutions and has a passion for illustration, branding, graphics, web development, motion design and AR. Away from the computer, he loves going on road trips with his partner and running the forest trails behind his home with his dog.

A Webmaster since 2000, Patrick has a flair for SEO and he’s also an Italian journalist and broadcaster — he launched his first internet radio station in 2001, and in 2005 founded the main association of Italian radio stations. Check out his English language radio show about Italian music. Patrick also loves mechanical watches and cafe racer motorcycles.

Zahra is a UX specialist and a creative designer with an MSc in User Experience Design. She is a creative problem solver, and an advocate for accessibility and user-centric processes. When she’s not in a workshop or wireframing, you’ll find her exploring new cities, editing videos and photos, or attending design events.

Originally from Romania, Tiberiu is a detail-oriented PPC Specialist always striving to reach the right people at the right time. He believes multicultural environments are the perfect ground to grow personally and professionally. Tiberiu enjoys extreme sports and technology.

Maksim is a web developer from the north — a cold-hardened but warmth-loving enthusiast who’s been into web stuff from a young age. Raisa is a junior front end developer. She comes from Ukraine and now lives in the USA. Her current interests are learning English and having a good laugh when she makes a mistake. She loves to eat, but hates to cook. She enjoys hand-coloring designs to relieve stress. She also likes to figure out how to do new tasks, so bring it on.

Cristina is a Greek national born in Italy who completed her academic studies in the UK and currently lives and works in Germany and Belgium, Cristina calls herself a true European; as such, she is highly motivated in making the best use of European Programmes and Projects, thanks to her expertise in communication strategy development and her networking skills.
